Kings of Leon Perform at Madison Square Garden, NYC

Kings Of Leon performed to a sold out audience at Madison Square Garden , NYC. The Followill brothers (and cousin) were named one of the big breakout bands of 2008, even though they've been around for awhile, but I'm so glad they're finally getting some recognition! They're definitely one of those bands you either love or hate. I just happen to be on the "love" side of that spectrum. It doesn't hurt that drummer Nathan Followill once gave me some invaluable festival advice: "Make sure to bring your own 2-ply and Xanax!"

Happy 4th of July, Everyone!

Okay, so it's technically now the 5th of July, but I'm sure everyone is still partying too hard to notice. Hopefully everyone had an awesome holiday and didn't expand their wastelines eating too much potato salad! I myself did not even get to see any fireworks but did have a pleasant night Friday when some friends came over to cookout and talk about loss prevention and...marital aids. So since I didn't see any fireworks except what PBS aired of the show from D.C., I'm going to post some photos from Macy's 4th of July fireworks celebration over the Hudson river in New York City.
