Jacksonville Jaguars Matt Jones Faces Felony Charges

Another NFL player has been arrested on a felony charge. This time it is Matt Jones. Jones who is currently a wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and played his college ball at Arkansas as a stand out Quarterback. Jones was a first round pick in the NFL Draft.

Jones was arrested sometime early Thursday morning in his college town of Fayetteville, Arkansas along with two others. Jones allegedly admitted to police that a white powdery substance in a bag was Cocaine, and a container that was also found may have held Marijuana earlier in the night.

The Jacksonville Jaguars Organization haven’t made an official comment yet, but will once they receive more information on the situation.

Jones faces arraignment on the charge of felony possession of a controlled substance Friday July 11.

Maybe they should change the meaning of the NFL to the National Felon League.
